Janet Lee-Sheriff

Advisor

Ms. Sheriff brings 25 years of experience in the mineral extraction industry with a strong focus on strategic planning, community engagement and communications. She presently serves as Chief Executive Officer & Director of Verdera Energy Corp., as well as President & Director of Manhattan Metals Corp., and the Clean Energy Association of New Mexico. From 2020 to 2024, she served as the Chief Communications Officer of enCore Energy Corp., having managed their brand and communications from a micro-cap company to a leading uranium producer in the United States.

Ms. Sheriff led the world’s first on-site test of a solvent which replaced cyanide in the gold extraction process. She was responsible for creating the SRU® (the Secondary Recovery Unit) which replaced the smelter process in the test process. Ms. Sheriff also established and presently owns the Yukon Mint®, which has created green gold coins with indigenous art to celebrate the local communities and artists. With a strong commitment to social responsibility and community engagement, she has successfully negotiated and implemented socio-economic and exploration agreements with indigenous governments plus implemented numerous innovative programs, including the award-winning Elders-in-Residence Program, to ensure community involvement in corporate projects. She is responsible for developing the Yukon Mine Training Association, focused on aboriginal training, raising $20+ mm for training initiatives. Ms. Sheriff previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Golden Predator Mining Corp and President of Tigris Uranium (now enCore Energy Corp.). She is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, and a recipient of the Queen’s Jubilee Commemorative Medal awarded for outstanding achievements by Canadians and numerous awards for her work with the Elders-in-Residence program.

She oversees all aspects of communications behind the scenes, including accounting and finance, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and smooth day-to-day operations. With a deep understanding of the business and a steady, detail-oriented approach, Gemma plays a vital role in keeping the company forward-moving.

Madison Ribeiro manages the team to ensure timelines and deliverables are met for the company’s clients. She brings a strategic blend of communications expertise, event curation, and project management experience to the company. With a background in event planning and organizational leadership, she has a proven ability to design and deliver initiatives that strengthen corporate identity and foster meaningful engagement. Madison also supports organizations in navigating a dynamic corporate landscape by crafting polished materials, refining messaging, and building meaningful connections with industry stakeholders and the broader community.

Mikayla Schmitz

Mikayla Schmitz has a background in digital marketing, community relations, and strategic communications within the mining and energy sectors. She plays a key role in crafting effective messaging, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and increasing brand visibility across digital platforms. Mikayla holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria, where she specialized in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Ventures. With a strong ability to distill complex information into clear, impactful communications, she supports corporate growth and fosters investor confidence in resource-driven markets.

Judy-Ann Pottinger

Consultant

Judy-Ann has over fifteen years of experience in Investor Relations and Corporate Communications, working with both private and publicly traded companies across various sectors, including metals and mining, as well as wind and solar energy. She has helped companies secure both domestic and cross-border support for their corporate communications programs, aiming to attract institutional investors, private wealth, retail shareholders, and media coverage.

In 2015, after completing her Exempt Market Products Course with the IFSE Institute, she served as a Registered Dealing Representative with a private equity investment platform. In this role, she sold various private equity offerings to investment advisers and accredited high-net-worth retail investors in Canada, the US, and Europe.

Throughout her diverse roles across multiple industries, Judy-Ann has honed her skills in effectively communicating with different audiences and developing corporate communications programs to enhance awareness among various investor groups.
